During this season of pandemic, we can nourish ourselves by learning to set aside our cares and attune ourselves to the experience of, and conditions for, joy. By practicing the Buddha's meditation on mudita, sympathetic joy, we can cultivate a genuine happiness for our own and others' successes and virtues, which serves as a powerful antidote to worry, depression, and the pain of self-centeredness.
Now is the perfect time to join us, online, for Inner Way LA’s half-day virtual retreat, appropriate for meditators of all backgrounds and experience levels. This retreat will give you an opportunity to pause, breathe, check in with yourself, and get more grounded. So please, treat yourself to a day of healing and inner exploration.
We will be led by Jeremy Graves, co-author of the bestselling meditation manual The Mind Illuminated. Jeremy is a long-time contemplative practitioner, with nearly two years of intensive retreat experience meditating nine hours a day or more. He has studied primarily in the Mahasi and Goenka lineages and feels a particular affinity for lovingkindness practices.
