Does it sometimes feel like the world has moved on while you're stuck in a perpetual state of grief, unable to find your way back to a sense of normalcy?
Do you feel like you're navigating through a fog, where even the simplest tasks seem overwhelmingly difficult?
Have you noticed friends and family tip-toeing around you, unsure of how to offer support without intruding on your grief?
Does it seem like time has lost its meaning, with days blending together in a blur of sorrow and longing?
Do you feel guilty for moments of happiness or laughter, as if betraying the memory of your loved one by finding joy in life again?
Have you experienced moments where the pain feels unbearable, leaving you wondering if you'll ever find relief from the ache in your heart?
When you're ready, you're ready.
This is a space for those seeking to navigate the overwhelming and painful journey of grief. If you experienced a recent loss -- or at any time in your life -- you are welcome here. This is also a space for those anticipating an upcoming loss. All are welcome.
A safe, supportive, and non-judgmental refuge in a community of tenderness and support.
Explore healing through a unique blend of mindfulness and experiential group techniques designed specifically for those living with grief. Engage in gentle introspection as mindfulness practices help cultivate awareness of emotions.
Through light movement (we will get out of our seats), you will be able to creatively express your feelings, foster a deeper understanding of your grief journey, and continue to heal in a supportive environment.
One group processing session will be offered (via Zoom) in the days following the workshop for all participants.
This workshop is NOT therapy but it will be therapeutic.
Location will be provided upon registration. Light snacks and tea will be served.
Facilitated by our Brian Stefan (California Grief Center) and Brandon Gross (Brandon Gross Therapy).
