Please join us for an afternoon of real and contagious laughter as we explore the benefits of Laughter Yoga. Based on the belief that voluntary laughter provides the same physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter this practice was founded in India in the mid 1990’s. Scientific studies have indicated that this exercise may improve cardiovascular health and mood.
About the Teacher:
Facilitator Susan Gionet has led laughter yoga groups since 2010. In 2013, she became a certified instructor after completing a training course led by the founder of LAUGHTER YOGA, Dr. Madan Kataria. The combination of meditation, a daily spiritual practice and a strong sense of community allows Susan to live a joyous and happy life while spreading love to those she serves.
