Part 1 - Embodied Anatomy
This class in Embodied Anatomy offers a sense of our organs such as the lungs, kidneys, stomach, and the liver. This work will help in supporting us, as we meditate. I will present anatomical information and exercises towards a direct experience of the viscera. This way of being offers the full support of the body's systems. We have an opportunity to listen to the mind of an organ within its function and add that consciousness to view and practice.
Part 2 - Authentic Movement
Authentic Movement - is it movement therapy? Perhaps Embodied Meditation? Yes and no. I can't tell you what Authentic Movement offers. It is an experience of something old that we all know.
An internal self senses an environment where it is right to go deep without the divisions of body and mind or conscious and unconscious. In stillness and movement, there is a powerful opportunity to move and feel and understand the self in new ways.
Cost: Sliding scale $45 - $85
