Part of IWLA’s Pandemic Resilience Program, this 8 week course is a chance to gather with and learn from Ayurvedic teacher and Healing Justice practitioner Erica Rey. She will show you how to build up a strong and healthy immune system using Ayurvedic philosophy, herbal medicine, and plant-based cooking to empower a more healthy, vibrant, and focussed you while on lockdown and beyond.
Bio
Erica is a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, herbalist and healing justice advocate. A proud immigrant mujer (woman) born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Erica is passionate about holistic healing and is committed to offering these practices as tools of resilience and sustainability for our communities. Her trauma-informed approach incorporates herbology, food as medicine, bodywork, and lifestyle counseling to address the root of dis-ease and support harmony and balance. Erica serves as Ayurvedic Practitioner and herbalist at WeSpark Cancer Support Center, leads a Healing Justice series at UCLA, and consults non-profits, businesses and individuals to bring healing to social justice spaces. She holds Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner (AWP) certification from Southern California University of Health Sciences and a BA in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA.
